Phew! After a number of weeks of customs-related stress, all EU pre-order customers have had their games posted! You should receive them this week some time, depending on where you live.
This means that pre-order fulfilment is finally complete.
Thank you for your patience through all the manufacturing and delivery delays that were such a bother.

There are still 100+ of you waiting for the game there and I truly apologise. As stated in the last couple of updates, the games for EU customers were held up and flown to the EU later than expected.
Then customs got a hold of the shipment and held onto it. They have had it for over two weeks, but finally, we should have the games at the fulfilment warehouse in a day or two, and then, the games will begin being posted to you all.
This has been a lengthy and complicated process, between the manufacturer, the shipper, the warehouse and myself – we all needed to work together to get the games released.
There was no particular reason why our games got held up. Everything was done correctly – nothing is wrong with the games/paperwork/delivery. No problems at all (other than a loss of time).
After speaking with independent people in the know (from freight companies etc) it just seems like it is a thing that happens from time to time – a random selection of shipments are chosen by customs to thoroughly check and make life difficult for. It’s just one of those things.
Anyway, Kashgar is now being released and you all should have it soon. I am sure this is the final hurdle for us 😦

So… grrr! EU customs held our shipment of Kashgar for checking etc. This meant more delays. I am so sorry. I hope to have the games released by Wednesday and then sent on to you all in Europe. Thanks for your patience.
If you live outside the EU and have not received your pre-ordered copy of Kashgar, please let me know.

I have so so happy to see and hear of Kashgar arriving in the hands of pre-order customers. There have been a number of images etc on social media, and I hope everyone is enjoying the game.

As I mentioned in the previous couple of posts, Criss Cross was delayed again at the factory. After one final hiccup (which I am too stressed to go into), I have been told by the factory that Criss Cross will be finished and ready to pick up next Wed-Fri. This means two things:

Just wanted to let you all know that the first 350 pre-orders of Kashgar will be packed today. Hopefully they will start going out the door today, too. This means, depending on where you live, you may have the game next week, or the week after, I guess. Hooray!
Unfortunately, I am still waiting on Criss Cross to finish it’s production. I will hopefully have these games ready to send out in about 10 days from the factory. (If you are expecting both games, they will be shipped to you separately.)
This means one further delay 😦 The EU copies of Kashgar are waiting for Criss Cross to finish because sending these games by air to the EU costs a ton. SO this means EU customers will have to wait another two weeks for pre-orders to begin postage. This stinks, I know. The service there is pretty good, however, so you should all have your games within a few days of their arrival on European soil. Again, this was all totally out of my hands – the factory has just been so slow. I will be speaking to this in more detail in my vlog on the Grail Games YouTube channel later today if you are interested.

If you pre-ordered Kashgar, I thank you once again for your patience 🙂 If you have missed out on all the delay and why it happened, please read the previous few posts to this blog.
The fulfilment/warehouse company we use will be receiving the games tomorrow or the next day. For real! I have high hopes that games will start going out to pre-order customers by the end of this week. That depends on the fulfilment company – how long they take to get the games packed and sent out. Addresses are ready – we are almost there!
I will post again once packages start going out. I have also begun a vlog on all the Grail Games news. The next episode is due out on Thursday and I will repost that here if there is relevant news on it 🙂
Now get this, though…
Criss Cross will not be ready to pick up for another 10-14 days. Yet again the factory has given misinformation – I thought these were done!! So Criss Cross pre-order customers will have to keep waiting. I am devastated! I will talk about this more in the vlog, but I have asked around, and the manufacturer is delaying everyone – not just Grail titles. But gee – these games were meant to be in your hands like, 2 months ago!!
Anyway, we will get there.
And at least it means more “exclusivity” for our pre-order fans. Kashgar and Criss Cross won’t be seen in stores until July probably now.

Here is a photo of the very first copy of Kashgar that was sent from the factory and arrived only ten minutes ago! (The photo is in the backyard, hence the glare coming off the shrink wrap.)
This means that the games in their final stages of preparation before we get them on April 7.
After a day or two of transit and then a day or two of packing and addressing, the games will be on their way to you! (Criss Cross as well!)

So sorry to bring this news, but I have final confirmation from the manufacturer, that Kashgar and Criss Cross will be ready for collection on April 7. Games will be collected and then (hopefully within a week after that) begin postage to all our pre-order customers. Everyone should have it by the end of April.
Games for retail will be sent to distributors a week later, and will probably take 6 weeks to sail to the US.
I am so sorry about that. The delays were totally out of our hands and the manufacturer has apologised profusely for the delay. They were just inundated with work in the lead up to Lunar New Year and everything slowed down. I know that these games will now be posted out two months later than advertised, but I do promise all pre-order customers will all have the games about two months (or more) earlier than stores or anywhere else.

Hi everyone!
A reminder that the pre-order for both Kashgar and Criss Cross ends in about 24 hours from now.
Thanks to the hundreds of people who have taken up the offer to pre-order. Next week we will begin the process of collating addresses etc., so all is ready to go when the games have completed manufacture after the Chinese New Year holiday.
After pre-order customers have been sent their games, and once the games are officially “in stock,” it may be possible to order from the Grail Games store again – we will see how many copies are on hand 🙂
