Kashgar pre-production copy!

Hi everyone – thanks for being an early pre-order customer for the fantastic card game, Kashgar 🙂

I am so happy to show you these images of the pre-production copy – a sample to show what the finished game will look like. (Please note that card cutting, image alignment, etc., may not be 100% correct.)

Everything looks perfect – I couldn’t be happier. We need to adjust the insert, but that’s it. If you have any questions about the images below, or the game’s progress, please ask.

Please note:

  • The box and boards have a linen finish. The box is also glossy. (The boards are 1mm thick).
  • The box itself is almost the same size as a Carcassone box (it’s a little taller).
  • The cards are bigger than the usual size – you can see one next to an Arkham Horror: The Card Game card as an example.

Please see the online shop listing for the complete components list.

I can’t wait to have these games shipped out to pre-order customers early next year, once they are all printed and ready…

Criss Cross pre-production copy

Hi everyone!

The Kashgar pre-production copy from the factory is due to arrive soon, but here are some photos from the Criss Cross mock up that arrived this week. Had to play it right away and it didn’t disappoint! Lovely dice, good quality box – loved it!

Criss Cross now begins proper production, ready to be delivered to all pre-order customers early next year 🙂

Early December update

Hi I all! I hope everything is going OK – thanks for choosing to pre-order Kashgar, and/or Criss Cross 🙂

Things have been a little quiet lately, but I am happy to say that both games have had their files approved by the manufacturer and I am due to receive mock-up samples of both games very soon. Hopefully Criss Cross will arrive as soon as tomorrow! And Kashgar won’t be long behind.

These mock-ups show what the game will look like and are a chance to check everything before full production begins. Once they are approved, the games will begin to be made in bulk. Both are due to finish production in the early part of next year.

Stay tuned, I hope to have some nice pictures to show you of how the games will look, soon.
